As our project manager, Keith and his crew were awesome to work with. The work they did is very high quality and they completed our many change orders without complaint and in a timely manner. Our home was custom built in the mid 1980’s. Although the hardwood oak trim and cabinets were high quality, the overall effect was dark. The farmhouse style came complete with a covered, wraparound porch. This added to the darkness inside the house. Our kitchen door was parallel to our back door, and we had a peninsula that cut off access to the cute eating nook. It felt more like a hallway with an afterthought for a spot for a small kitchen table.
We chose an open concept “modern farmhouse” for our remodel look. The results are stunning.
Even though our kitchen and family room remodel was about four years ago now, we still appreciate and admire it daily. It’s light and airy, prettier, and much more functional

Keith does an excellent job. He shows consistent concern for our house and our project, even more than we did. He does magnificent work and we would have him work on our house again. We have talked to several contractors in the past and Keith displays honesty and integrity and that is something very difficult to find with contractors these days.

We met Keith when he was the project leader/ Chief Foreman for an extensive kitchen (plus) remodel of our home around 2018. The work involved everything from a structural re-design of the kitchen to open it out to an adjacent living area, to a full kitchen refit (plumbing, electrical, cabinets, counters, fixtures appliances), ceiling replacement and relighting, a complete fireplace overhaul and re-tile and custom flooring and doors.
This was a complex project with many sub -contractors and vendors. Keith stayed on top of each scope of work, provided superb communications and was always available to intercede and solve any hang ups or emergent issues well before they could impact the schedule.
Keith’s candor and temperament are unique in my experience of working with building and home remodel contractors. He is absolutely a straight shooter providing clear and cogent advice, collaborates to solve problems and builds exceptional trust with his clients. He holds himself and his team to highest of standards, he does not shy from bad news or difficult problems, but attacks them head on with an infectious positive attitude and openness.

I first met Keith when he worked for his previous employer. He was the foreman of two big home renovations; a new kitchen and garage on a 100 year old house with lots of curveballs that Keith dealt with expertly. Now that Keith has started KO Construction I’ve used him for structural repairs and building a new deck. The best part about working with Keith is the communication, attention to detail, and professionalism. If I have questions he will know the answer or he will know where to find it.
